2009 FINANCIER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The CAFBA Committee and members congratulate BOQ Equipment Finance Limited on being awarded the 2009 CAFBA Financer of the Year. BOQ achieved an excellent overall score of 908 points equating to 29.7% of votes received, Macquarie Leasing were 2nd with 552 points (18%) and Capital Finance Australia Limited 3rd with 398 points (13%).

BOQ Equipment Finance Limited have now won the award three of the past four years. Truly an outstanding effort!

2010 CAFBA Victorian Golf Day

CAFBA held the annual Victorian Golf day on Thursday 16th March at the perfectly presented Waterford Valley Golf Course in Knoxfield.

A full field played in very trying intense humidity for the first half of the afternoon with a well received cloud cover for the last nine holes.

The scoring was incredible with the winning team receiving the Rod Armitage Perpetual Trophy made up of Cameron Evans - Melbourne Finance, Megan Boff - BOQ, Michael O'Keefe - Commercial Office Solutions and David Berry - NAB, scoring 50.875!, yes 12 Birdies!!!!

They took the first prize of 4 x $1000 travel vouchers

Second place went to the Centrepoint Finance group made up of Steve Day, Ian Elkner, James Bonnett & Richard Hoppe taking home a $500 Myer voucher each

The next closest score in third was the team of Steven Burr & Michael Christie - Interlease and Jeff Letson & Phil McGrath - Capital Finance. They each took home a $250 Crown restaurant voucher

Our thanks goes to all players , the staff at Waterford Valley Course and to Rod Toomey and Joe Terlato for organising another successful tournament, supported tirelessly by Raylene.
