2009 CAFBA GOLF DAY:

The CAFBA Golf Day has again been run and won, and again our ex. President has managed to manipulate the results in his favour!

I think everyone will agree we had another successful day, due in no small part to the kind contributions by our supporting Financiers, which have enabled the prize categories on offer to be of a standard never before seen at similar events.

Our sincerest thanks are extended to Westpac, NAB, Bank of Queensland, CBA, Capital Finance, Macquarie and St George Bank, and we look forward to their continuing support for many years to come.

The day was attended by 60 players, who enjoyed perfect golfing conditions on a course that Waterford Valley staff can be proud of.

The final results were as follow:

Due to taking 8 hours to complete their round and shooting an 86 off the stick - unheard of in modern day Ambrose Golf!! the NAGA award went to:
Andrew Russell, Scott McCall, Mark Crameri, Terry Tzivakis

Longest Drives were won by:
Rod Toomey, Steven Burr, Kristian McLausland, Lawrie Cumper

Nearest to the Pin’s were won by:
Lawrie Cumper, Ron McCloud, John Hatherley, Phil McGrath
