To be more involved in CAFBA activities and the industry, and possibly move into a broking role in the future...
CAFBA membership has been expanded to include staff of member firms with the creation of the Individual non loan writer category. Many firms have staff who want to be more involved in CAFBA activities and the industry, and possibly move into a broking role in the future. Many of these people have been attending CAFBA Women’s Forum Networking events and also the Commercial Lending Young Professional (CLYP) events and want to be more actively involved. This new category allows a more active participation in CAFBA.
It is available only to a Non-Loan writer PAYG employee working for a Full member.
This category carries no voting rights and does not allow the individual to act in any capacity as a finance broker.
This category is promoted to those:
Working towards becoming a broker (want to be involved in CAFBA functions, training and opportunities to learn more)
Attending Women’s Networking sessions/CLYP (if not a Broker)
Anyone else in these positions that wants to be a member.
Cost of membership $135.00 per annum (plus GST)
National Police Check
Letter from Full member confirming agreement to membership
Applicants for membership with CAFBA are required to submit a Police, Credit and Bankruptcy check as part of their application. These checks must be no more than 3 months old at the time of application.
CAFBA Members are required to provide an updated Police, Credit and Bankruptcy Check every 5 years at their renewal.
