CAFBA is pleased to announce that registrations are once again open to participate in one of Women & Leadership Australia’s (WLA’s) leadership development programs and apply for a fee support scholarship available for women working in the equipment finance sector.
This is the sixth year that CAFBA have undertaken this initiative to address gender imbalance in our industry. The recipients of these scholarships over the last 5 years have spoken about how beneficial the program has been, both personally and professionally, which some of you may have seen in previous posts.
The aim of these courses is to unlock potential, reflect and open up networking opportunities to learn from women across finance and other industries, and we encourage you to nominate members of your staff who want to take the next step in their careers or even yourself.
The scholarships are arranged through WLA and the courses conducted in conjunction with the Australian School of Applied Management.
There are a number of scholarships available to women across WLA’s three leadership development programs.
The scholarships will cover part of the cost of the course, however as in the past CAFBA will endeavour to find sponsors to assist with the balance of the program fees. The level of sponsorship obtained will depend on the number of scholarships available.
If you would like to speak with one of the previous scholarship recipients to gain a better understanding of the opportunity we will be pleased to arrange this for you.
Applications open 8am Monday 2nd November and close at 11:59pm Monday 30th November 2020.
